RAW/RAM Claim Block - Gold

DSC00340.jpg

Numerous quartz veining in a tuffaceous section over a Paleozoic folded anticline. Surface Gold values up to 750 ppb, As and SB anomalies widespread over the claim block and mineralogically analogous to numerous Walker Lane large deposits including Aurora and Bodie. The current evaluation of the area is done by MS Development and Anglo/Ashanti Gold. Core Au numbers in several 10-20’ sections over 250 PPB.

Weasel - Gold

The Weasel claim block has surface exposures in altered tuffaceous rhyolite of 3 quartz veins in old diggings showing visible, multi-ounce gold trending NE.

CALL Claims

CALL is small silver camp and workings consisting of one, East/West vein

which contains from 30-45 oz/ton Ag when the high grade portion of the silver vein is found. Trace amounts of gold and copper are also seen. Sample Call 7 is shown to the right with 1340 ppm Ag.

Ellendale Claim Block

The Ellendale claim block looking south is at the base of a Rhyolite dome along east-west faulting. One sample in the altered white fractured tuff in the right center of picture above and seen in the picture the right ran just under 2 grams of gold with several with other Au, Ag and geochemical anomalies to the east along the fault system. Objective is to drill along this east-west fault zone testing the deeper, altered tuff adjacent to the Rhyolite dome.

TUFF Claims

TUFF claims are in a notable, regional alteration anomaly within the Northumberland Caldera setting adjacent to the Northumberland Mine, a notable Carlin-style gold and silver mine in the Caldera wall. Objective is to drill the As, Hg and Sb geochemical anomoly’s near where a major mining concern drilled several holes in 1989 in the tuffs and encountered shallow oxide gold mineralization. Model analogy is the mineralization under clay/alunite, silicified altered tuffs in a preserved, know precious metal bearing epithermal system, similar to Round Mountain 20 miles to the south..

Moniter Claims

The Monitor claims are in an alteration anomaly with numerous old shafts and diggings likely from the 1800’s. Geochemistry shows up to 535 PPB Au with 2 oz/ton Ag plus notable As and Sb. Some iron stained/cemented breccia exists adjacent to mineralized quartz veins with traces of Au and pathfinder elements (lower right below). Quartz vein (below) and slickenside shown on picture to the right.

Toiyabe Claims

The Toiyabe claim block has a small outcropping of a mined, mercury sinter along with fluorspar in quartz veins with up to 5.2 grams of Au a mile away. Drilling from the 1980’s and 1990’s south of this quartz veining indicated a quartz vein stockwork with low grade gold. The opaline sinter, fluorite and quartz with Au fits the Epithermal Gold conceptual model for a volcanic hosted deposit. Objectives would be deep drilling under the sinter and re-evaluation of the stock work in today’s economics.

Toquima Claims

The Toquima claim block is a sediment hosted exploration lead. Picture above is Mesozoic granite on the right where the trees are present and the Ordovician Vinini on the left. Ore grade and geochemistry is present in the upper plate Vinini Formation with a mineralizing Tertiary dike and contact zone (middle of the picture below) running 2-5 grams Au. Wallrock Vinini mineralzation of up to 35 oz./ton Ag, .01 oz./ton Au, 1% lead and 9% Zinc with up to 2900 PPM As and over 800 PM Sb. The concept objective is to drill through the upper plate Vinini and into the footwall Ordovician-Devonian silty carbonates for a Carlin and/or Carbonate Replacement deposit sourced by the Tertiary dike and distributed via faulting adjacent to a Mesozoic granite intrusion.

SW Cortez Claims

The SW Cortez claim block is a Carlin style exploration prospect southwest of the Cortez and Toiyabe mines. Surface rocks are the upper plate Vinini Formation with anomalous As up to 403 PPM, Hg up to 25 PPM and Sb up to 132 PPM. The east-dipping positive fault block is truncated to the west by a down-to-the-west fault. Objective is the drilling through the upper plate, Roberts Mountain Fault and into the footwall sediments as are productive in the Cortez and Toiyabe mines.

Cedar Claims/In Progress

Cedar Claims are located on a clay alteration, magnetic low anomaly near a Paleozoic carbonate-hosted Silver/Base metal mine. Gold was assayed at Cedar from .5-2 grams with some Silver in a altered sinter.
